Microferme Racines

The Racines micro-farm is located in the Tarn region, in the commune of Castelnau de Montmiral, in a privileged natural environment at the gateway to the Gresigne forest, in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards and surrounded by bastides and listed villages. The farm's main activity is the production of seasonal organic vegetables.

Mathieu created this activity in 2024 after 2 years of major renovation work, and now runs the farm according to the principles of intensive organic market gardening developed by JM Fortier. Produce is sold direct from the farm every Monday and Thursday evening from 4pm to 7pm, and is available for delivery to Lavaur on Tuesdays. You'll find a wide range of vegetable species and varieties in our online store, sure to delight your taste buds.

In addition to our market gardening activity, we have planted nearly 250 fruit trees, which will enable us to offer you seasonal fruit all year round. The farm's fruit and vegetables will be processed and offered to you all year round in the form of coulis, spreads, jam or compote.

On the farm you'll also find a gite for 4 to 6 people in a white stone house typical of the region, which will be available for booking soon.
